Tailor-made interior with a sustainable focus

South Tyrol/Südtirol and its people are characterised by their hospitality, tradition and closeness to nature. The tailor-made interiors by Erlacher bring this attitude to life and enrich the overall guest experience with contemporary, high-quality design – and not just in the hospitality sector.

This family-run craft business, based in Barbiano/Barbian, has over 120 years of experience. Erlacher Interiors combines this expertise with state-of-the-art CNC and production technologies. In collaboration with international architects and designers, bespoke interior designs for hotels, restaurants, businesses and private construction projects are created in sustainable regional production.

New trends in proven traditional craftsmanship

Soon after the company was founded, Erlacher made a name for itself as a joinery for first-class interior design. When Toni Erlacher joined the company in 1976, modern methods were gradually adopted by the traditional business. Since then, the focus has been on tailor-made interiors that combine traditional craftsmanship with sophisticated design. The interplay of clear, modern lines with the rustic charm of various types of wood creates an exciting contrast that has a timeless effect and sets new standards in interior design. Since 2005, his son Thomas has continued to drive innovation  forward by collaborating with renowned designers and focusing on sustainability in all areas of the company. Today, the Erlacher team comprises around 60 specialists in planning, project management, production and installation – setting global standards in interior design.

Into the future with a sustainable corporate philosophy

Courage to innovate - yes, but cautiously and without forgetting our roots. As a traditional company, Erlacher is committed to preserving the natural heritage of its homeland. This means more than just the responsible use of resources: the South Tyrolean company also prioritises economic and social sustainability. Passion, honesty, trust and transparency are the core values of Erlacher. This is why certifications in the areas of quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety and the use of wood from sustainable forestry are a matter of course for the owners and a visible expression of their corporate philosophy.

Tailor-made products from South Tyrol are internationally renowned

Where hospitality is at home,  bespoke interiors from Erlacher characterise the ambience. Renowned houses such as the Rosewood Munich in Munich value the combination of purist design language and durable wood, whose warm tones and individual grain create a natural feel-good atmosphere. At the Hotel Zermama in Zermatt, Erlacher Interiors has used the dark wood of the hotel façade in the interior. The rooms, bar, lounge and dining areas embrace international guests with understated luxury. Precision craftsmanship and designs tailored to each project have an impact far beyond the Alpine region.
